@Screenwriter :) we never hear about his mom, only father. there's a reason he is the way he is... some of it I believe is ingrained personality, some is emotional development. I don't see him as a "bad person" anymore than anyone else and in some ways, better than many. That statement makes some gag and puke. But he does have flaws in behavior that will drive some people nuts. Some tolerate those flaws because those flaws contribute to his strengths that benefit the country more than hinder.

The last election was fair, and Republican governors, secretaries of state and election officials of all ilks checked, double-checked and Republican judges certified it. The few dozen incorrect votes made no difference. In fact there were votes found to be in Biden's favor because of Trump's suits.

I'm sure NO ONE wants unsecure borders. There is a process. In fact I know two people who've become citizens who I asked about the process. It is long and slow. It took both of them a DECADE to become citizens and there was nothing against their citizenship. Both are PhD college professors. One came here degreed the second became degreed while here. One from China, the second from Belize. They had no outstanding warrants or issues and it still took so long.

I understand neither of them were desperate for citizenship, and I figure both KNEW they'd get in in time. Neither were married or had very young or otherwise minor children who would benefit. But the people fleeing global climate change, political unrest and poverty are in dire straits. So, they cross streams and rivers, walk through jungles, hire coyotes and semi trucks and die in them because they face dissipation if they remain where they are.

It's true: We can't take in everyone, even the MOST desperate. And it seems cruel NOT to allow all the needy in: But the process and allowances per country mean just that. There are limits.

As for Capitalism. It is a boon and a mean mistress. People get very rich. But on the backs of workers who are very poor. There is a middle way. Capitalism can be improved to uplift the lives of workers who make it possible. Not by making it Communism, but by taking into account that though investors and all the middle men must be paid, exploiting workers who make it possible to PAY the investors is wrong.

There is nothing about secure borders, a strong military, great GDP and a solid money system that is "American". Every country wants these things. All countries are striving for them. Disliking Trump doesn't mean disliking America. It simply means disliking the man. There's not a president who ever way who didn't want those same goals. They may have approached them differently, more liberally or more conservatively than some citizens wanted. Some were more corrupt... we can name Mr. Nixon.. BUT he made great strides with China! Terrible with Vietnam. But so did Johnson! 20 Mule Team Borax Reagan did a terrible disservice to mental health sufferers which has lead decades later to the overflow of homelessness. It solved ONE problem: the abuses in the system, but created one that is just as serious and dire.

There has been good and bad with EVERY president. But all have tried to serve their egos and the country. Sometimes this has worked well. Sometimes poorly. Trump did not do a great job.

Biden is struggling. But he struggles with the leftovers of a wobbly administration and presidents do not create jobs. No president except Wilson suffered through a worldwide pandemic. Three struggled through polios' dead and crippled children and young adults' fallout: Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower. But polio was not considered a world pandemic. It was more like the flu: seasonal. But 1-4% of sufferers were paralyzed, and there was latent polio that appears 20 to 40 years later in people who recovered completely and THEN caused paralysis! Gosh.

So, besides Andrew Jackson's good indian=dead indian, few presidents have been awful and NONE have been ruinous. The USA continues and it has its struggles.

President Trump proposed a program that would have revamped the system and had a provision to allow the so called "dreamers " to have a path to citizenship but the democrats refused anything that he ever proposed. Biden's solution of just throwing open the southern border and let anyone in from anywhere in the world is really insane when you consider what a dangerous place the world is today. There have been people identifies as coming from 133 different countries. Countries are opening their prisons and sending them here. We are getting the dregs of the world and the taxpayers are expected to support all these people. Each of them costs between 35 and 50 thousand dollars a year per person per year. That all adds up to billions that could be used to support our own elderly and veterans.
THe short answer is that these people are all breaking out laws and democrats just look the other way. The press refuses to cover any of it and Biden's minions claim the border is secure and only talk about it when he wants to punish Border Patrol agents because they actually did their job. He tried to make the El Rio area a "no fly" zone to keep the Fox News drones from showing the American people the thousands of illegal aliens waiting to cross the border. I swear I am not making this up.
