Netflix just recommended me Twilight and I started watching it but I can't take it seriously anymore.
I know at least one parody to nearly all scenes, I'm just laughing the whole time hahaha it's great now

Back in the good old days, I really liked the books, yeah I was that girl who always compared the movies to the books haha so I did watch the movies but never really loved it but I did read the books a few times and I actually still have them, they're in the basement of my mom's place

After laughing for a while, it became a little boring and they came to the scene where both were in a restaurant and I fell asleep immediately lol

Bella was so desperate it was pathetic. Edward was dull af. Jacob was hot but whiny. The best characters were Alice, Carlisle, Charlie, both Victorias, Seth and Billy Black. Paul was my fave eyecandy. Everyone else could've died for all i care lol and i really wanted someone to kill Jessica and Bella for good. Muse, Bruno, Paramore, Linkin Park, and Christina Perri made the soundtracks amazing. I own the series but wouldn't rewatch. Breaking Dawn Part 1 was the only worthy one in the series

Ah yes I remember fondly, it was the 7th grade and me and my best friend at the time were in math class together. I was in the process of reading the first book and I shamelessly proclaimed, loudly "THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ!"

I still have a soft spot in my heart for the books, I may have to go back and read them again sometime. It left an impression on an entire generation of edgy youngsters and fueled the fire of young adult fantasy romance. Since the success of Twilight, how many shows and movies centered around supernatural creatures can you think of since Twilight became popular? 😂 It had such a big influence it's hard not to be just a little enthralled by it.

I sorta liked them.. Well, I thought the second one was one of the most boring movies I ever watched.. It was a slog.. It tried to take itself seriously.. Plus, I was team Jacob cause he had more personality than Edward and I didn't care to see her slobbering all over him.. I liked the last two At least.. I don't remember the third one too much.. I would watch them now? Hell naw, that was a time when I watched any and every movie that came out and I was excited to be an actor one day.. That times has passed and I'm a big kid now..

I definitely liked the books better but I watched all the movies anyway. Some of the acting was very awkward and unnatural. I think the movies would of done much better if they hadn't chose Kristen Stewart as Bella. Sorry to say but I just don't think she has very strong acting skills and could probably find a talent in different career field. Yet somehow she still gets roles.. I don't know.

I didn't like it when it first came out, I still don't like it now. My mom's ex boyfriend bought me the book set & even the books were trash.

This is just a personal opinion, but Twilight ruined vampires & "werewolves/skin-walkers" with it's glitter & teenaged angst. I get that that's where their target audience was, but ffs it was bad.
