Why do people get so mad when they find out I play video games?

I can literally tell people ANYTHING else, and they don't get mad. Anime? Acceptable nowadays. If I literally tell someone I do nothing in my spare time, they're cool with it. If I say I play a video game, a good amount of the time they go into the whole "yOu'rE wAsTing YoUr TiMe" rant.. like bruh... one of my English teachers was like that, so I did a report on a book that was also a video game. I didn't read the book and she couldn't even tell lol. People are sad for no reason.

Actually, at 12 I was emaciated... by 19 I had reached 6'3 and my type of shoots changed. 6'3 and 200 post 25 is acceptable... not model weight but acceptable.
