Is it just me or are some people especially kids rude in the gaming community?

The other day this girl in the lobby asked my age I was like”I’m 24 almost 25.” She was like:”you’re 25! “You need to hop off” I was playing a horror video game because I like scary games. She must’ve sounded about 15 or 16 but she was so rude. I didn’t know there was an age limit on video games… like I work two jobs, I pay my bills, I’m very responsible and I’m allowed to have a life outside of my job and all the seriousness! I can actually enjoy video games now too because I went through a lot as a teenager and didn’t have much time. People are just so mean and judgmental nowadays. I’d rather be gaming than packing my face with makeup or partying. I’m more of a tomboy girl.

It isn't just you. I've experienced it on other games like roblox, no pickles pet escape, etc. that some people are rude. Teens especially. But I do find it funny how they think adults don't play video games at all.

Kid & teen gamers: "No adult plays roblox, minecraft, and fortnite"

Adult gamers that stream: "You sure about that bruh?"

Ikr!!! I know some female streamers like pokimane and she’s like 26 or 27, Valkyrae is in her 30s, and so on. I just feel like maybe they’re a bit envious that we are adults and have more freedom than they do and their time is probably limited by their parents since they’re kids. Honestly they shouldn’t worry about how old someone is unless they’re being a creep, and just enjoy the game. We’re all playing to have fun, not get into peoples business but some kids don’t get it..

I say that because some people my age are out prefer drinking, going to the bar, social clubs/events but I like video games still lol. I can’t help myself. It’s so fun for me.

Yes. I love that one and the Friday the 13th. My fiancé is more Into just constant fighting but I like the horror, action based ones more but I feel like these have a lot of kids on and not many adults.. i don’t mind teaming up if they’re polite but geez some act so aggressive with attitudes.

I LOVE dead by daylight, but people can be so sensitive/toxic on there. If you play bad, they hate on you, if you play well, they hate on you.

@vendela_ so true! People shouldn’t be haters and honestly just have fun with it. Like if they feel that bitter and entitled they shouldn’t be on.. we’re all on to have fun not do everything “perfect” I find it silly because it’s a video game and literally not everyone is gonna play the same. I was told to be a good sport playing games as a kid whether it was sports in general or video games and be courteous of others. Sadly I think nowadays some kids lost that aspect.
