Why are most parents obsessed with wanting their kids to be tall?

I’m sick of people being jealous of us tall people. Look they can have feelings and it’s valid but come on!!! Being tall isn’t that great, especially a tall female. Men don’t like tall women. We’re mostly single. I’m 5’9”. Even tall men don’t want us.
One of my sisters close friends is having a baby which I’m very happy for her said, “I’m so excited to have my baby girl. I hope she gets to be as tall as you (me), but I’m short at 4’10” so she’ll be stuck with the short genes. My husband is 5’8 so she won’t be tall. Bummer.”
My sister said, “Yeah my sis has the tall genes from dad’s side and I got stuck with the short genes too from moms side. Hope my kids get the tall genes too even though my husband is 6’3.” She’s 5’6”. I kill to be shorter like 5’5”
Man everyone wants to be tall.
Some people say they want a tall partner because they want their kids to be tall.

Short men having much harder time than tall women, looking unmasculine and weak, so if I have mix gender children I would rather have tall children. When a short woman date a tall man she the one who benefits from it the most. If you point out to a tall man that he can have a basketball team with you then he might date you. Tall women look like amazons.

I am 6' 1/2" tall and I am fine with women as tall as 5' 10" and as short as 4' 8" so it's a pretty wide range for me.

Women who are 5'9 should not have any problem finding a guy to date. Some of guys greatly prefer taller women.
