Do you like to watch international movies in their original audio or dubbed in your language? Also, with or without subtitles?

The only international ones I remember watching are anime. lol

I typically like watching anime in Japanese with subtitles, but dubs are also fun. (Especially because I’m a slow reader. hehe… 😥)

This is one of the reasons I want to learn Japanese one day. My memory isn’t that good though, so it feels nearly impossible… I’ve tried Duolingo in the past, but it didn’t seem to help regardless of being useful and fun for my mom and little sister. (Then again they’re not studying Japanese. lol)

I prefer original studio with English subtitles, it means you get the full range of emotions expressed properly.

I prefer the original language, with subtitles in my language. Dubbing is often weird and drives me nuts, watching the mouth move one way, not matching the sound, sometimes the sound continues after the mouth stops moving, and vice versa.

Either dubbed or with subtitles. I actually prefer subtitles because with dubbing, the lip movements never synch with the dubbed audio and it looks too weird.

I dislike dubbing greatly. I prefer subtitles, unless it's in one of the languages I understand, in which case I want the subtitles gone.

If in Spanish, in original and no captions. I'm not yet quite fluent but proficient enough to understand. In in another language, original with subtitles unless animated then dubbed into English.
