I selected Dub simply because I want to watch as well as listen to the movie. Having to read subtitles quickly before the next line pops up means I'm spending more time looking at the lower half of the screen and less time watching what's actually happening in the scene.
Might as well just read a book.
I used to prefer subtitles since dubs can look pretty odd and some can be done really badly, but over the years, I learned I miss more of what's going on with subtitles.

Dub mostly. In fact the only show i ever gone out my way to 100% watch it not in dub cause i disagree with what they did was Dragon Ball.
Goku is 100% not supposed to be voiced by a Man and have a deep voice.
Squid game Squid game squid game everywhere I turn I see squid game
I am about to throw my iphone from my balcony if I see squid game again lol
Some English dubs don't get the feeling of the lines. If you have the original language and subtitles you can still get the emotions in the voice.

Actually that's a good question from a German's point of view. Since Germany is one of the most lucrative media markets 98% of foreign movies and series get dubbed. Because of that, it's actually quite well done (always lip-synchronous, etc.) . Some of the German dubbing actors have become quite famous in their own right, getting radio ad jobs, animation speaking parts, etc. Examples, the German voice actors of Bruce Willis, John Wayne or ALF.
Personally, I always watch the original (when it's English or French), if it gets very complicated language-wise (Shakespeare...), I like to read the English subtitles in parallel.Dubs over subs. Sorry; I'm not a weeaboo and I don't want to hear stuff in a language I don't know (despite me living in Korea right now; ironic, no?)
I used to watch the old Japanese sci-fi movies that were dubbed in English. They were hysterical.
I hate when the lips don't line up with what they're saying. Drives me nuts
Usually subs, but there are exceptions where the dubs are of higher quality (or "quality", looking at you Ghost Stories). Cowboy Bebop and Cromartie High must be watched in English.
I prefer watching it in it's original language. Most of the time it just doesn't look or sound right if its been dubbed

All the shows I watch are foreign and most of them are in their original language which is usually English. I hate dubs, so I go for subtitles.
Usually native but in Turkish series I like to watch the Spanish dubbed versions. It's easier since series are longer
Native. Just try to top this laugh!

I always go with original language and subtitles... it feels more engaging that way
Lol I don't if I'm weird but I watch everything in subtitles even if it's in English lol I don't know I just like reading it I guess 👍🏽!!
If I have to go online to look up EVERY SINGLE WORD they are saying, I won't watch it.
But still with subtitles.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/j0m4rcx0of4Depends on how they do things. If I’m watching a dubbed anime and the characters try to talk like Japanese people and just have voices that don’t suit the characters then imma go with sub
I always choose to watch movies in their original language, I dislike dubbed things
I'm from a non-English speaking country and used to watch shows and movies with subtitles. That's what I prefer, dubbing looks and sounds unnatural.
I don't like either to be honest, but I'll take the dub, because I don't want to read a movie, as they often go too fast and it distracts your attention from what's happening on the screen
Depends. I do prefer native language. But at times I'm just way too tired to read lol.
Native language with subtitles. Dubs are always out of sync
original language with subtitles. for example. Dubbing is bad in a movie where the ancient Egyptian language is spoken. like the mummy movie
