When I was 5 years old I was told the earth will be dead in 10 years

I cried that day thinking I wouldn’t live past 15
I’ve been on this earth for almost 30 years now and not a single thing’s changed.

Climate change is the biggest form of fear mongering designed to be used as a political weapon in our modern time

Invent an abstract problem you can’t prove but no one can disprove.
Then sell yourself as the solution saying “put me in charge and I will save us”
And watch the brainless sheep being over backwards to hand you power.

Once you have it.
Tax them into oblivion to fund the relief effort.
And pocket all the commissions you can along the way.

So no thanks.
If the planet wants to kill us, I say we let it.
Because none of us are stronger than mother nature and it’s beyond narcissistic to assume otherwise

Human beings are remarkably good at adapting, but usually only after they’ve ignored warnings for too long. Climate change and ecological decline will likely bring a mix of suffering, innovation, loss, and adjustment. Some places and ways of life will disappear; others will emerge.

The deeper question isn’t whether civilisation survives, but what kind of civilisation survives. The challenge is less about saving the planet—the planet will endure in some form—and more about deciding what sort of relationship humans want with the world that sustains them.

In that sense, the ending is probably not apocalypse, but consequence.

People don't care unless it directly affects them and for most people in cities it doesn't. A farmer may moan he's facing more pests, a fisherman may moan the fish have gone, but someone in a city will barely notice and assume it's just a tax raising excuse.

I think environment poisoning and lack of clean water is much bigger problem than CO2 and other greenhouse gases. However, CO2 panic is beneficial for some elites who tries to sell us less and less sustainable products which are a problem for environment.

Nothing will happen except for a more authoritarian government what we can and cannot use and more taxes to pay for a completely manufactured scare campaign.

Throughout the last 50 years, the climate fearmongerers keep changing the story. First an ice age, next "global warming" now they're calling it "climate change."

Also the biggest contributors to the pollution are the middle east and east Asian countires like India, China and the Philippines. I don't see anyone brave enough to tell Winnie the Xianping to change anything.

It doesn't because you have all countries most countries know how to control the weather and how to create it against other countries

And this is a evil used to create problems for others I'm sure our country even uses it against us floods rains hurricanes it is a form of control that is wrong

Badly. Atmospheric CO2 plunges during Ice Ages and since Ice Ages have non-anthropegenic causes we can't stop them.

Most plants start dying at 150 ppm though some like maize and sugar cane can go down to low levels. No grass, no herbivores no meat so we will only have maize to eat at best.

In the 1950's, Pop Sci mag- along with flying car highways, etc, was saying the planet would cease to exist by 2000. Neither proved to be true, The powers that drive this planet are phenomenal- beyond our comprehension. Just live responsibly- while you are alive.

There will be a new equilibrium point in a few centuries.

Countries will be divided into winners, losers and the ones that cease to exist.

Future generations yet to be born will curse us but we'll be dead by then.
