Is it okay for my mom to question my clothing choices?

At age 48 I am going to say no. I think by then she should just let you wear what you want and accept it. What are you wearing that is so questionable at your age is what I am wondering.

She is your mom though and moms be moms like that. I don't ever think mine has made mention of what I wear, but then again I don't wear anything that is really out there or shows a ton of skin so to speak.

Maybe she wants you to always dress decently. Maybe you enjoy wearing clothes that are too revealing. If that is the case then she is only trying to protect you

Sure its OK... your Mom is allowed to have her opinion. But this does not mean you are forced to change your style if it makes you happy.
