What are trolls and giants in Middle-Earth?

So Tolkien has equal parts good and evil. The evil creatures are in mockery of the good.
Elves-Orcs
Dwarves-Goblins
Good Men-Evil Men
Uruks and uruk-hai are exceptions because Uruks are orc and goblin procreation, while uruk-hai are uruk and human hybridizaiton.
Then we have giants and tolls. Now we could aruge that one is the mockery of ents, but that still leaves one out, and which one is the mockery one?

Trolls are the Middle Earthers on Twitter, and the Giants are the likes of Ms_Facesitter, JosyJosy, GodOfThunder, and SubaruGirl.

In the book Treebeard tells Merry and Pippin directly that trolls are a bastardization of Ents.

I don't remember giants in the book, honestly. There's the Belroc demon thing but their counterpart is obviously wizards.

Balrogs are Maia as are wizards. Giants were in The Hobbit. They were throwing rocks during a storm. They weren't evil per se, but they don't appear as something the Vanir intended to exist. If that is the case, the Melkor had to have made them. Since he can only make in mockery, they have to be in mockery of something
