It depends- book or musical? Musical Cosette, despite being the literal poster child of the play, isn't really a character so much as a plot element; book Cosette is MUCH more active and characterized. Musical Eponine, on the other hand, comes off notably *better* than her book counterpart, not only by having FAR milder parents (the Thenardiers of the book are downright evil, little resembling the Keystone Kop-like musical versions), but dodging the whole "crippling mental illness" aspect that comes from that.

So the tiebreaker goes to the video game, where Cosette's jump kick is bullshittedly difficult to dodge, while Eponine's is much fairer.

I've never seen Les Misérables, but I'm going to guess Cosette is a rich girl and Éponine is broke and from the streets. If true, then definitely Éponine. I grew up poor too, and rich people don't have that level of loyalty or grit that people like us have. They're mentally soft and can't handle hardship. It also says online she's sarcastic, cynical, and street smart. Oh yeah, she'd definitely be my type.
