Taking pictures, notes, journaling, blogging, or whatever else to capture times in your life, good or bad.

No need to for me personally. I was born with an eidetic memory & although they say it goes away with age it's still very keen; it actually took me time to realize others are not the same so I make the attempt to take pics now & share them with family / friends.

Me personally I can rewind my memory like a tape & replay events, especially visual, smell, feeling etc.. My ability to recall speech isn't perfect verbatim but very accurate & I'm horrible with names / numbers but will remember a voice or a face after hearing / seeing a person once so I guess there are discrepancies.

Not really. Most the time I don't even think of Kodak moments until I see others whipping out there phones. It's not that I don't want pictures for memories. It just typically never occurs to me at the time. I'd rather enjoy the moment rather than capture the moment.

Definitely. I always take lots of photos when I go to new places, when I have new experiences, or when something really good or really bad happens. That way I can look back on those photos or videos and I can remember exactly how I was feeling, the good and the bad. It’s always important to remember and reflect on how far you’ve come.

when I was young, I kept a diary, put down lots of things, like first time I went there or here, kept sex things in there as well, still have it, but don't write in it anymore, now it's pics or memory

Yes, that's why I prefer texting and e-mailing people so that I can remember exactly what was said. No false good or bad memories.

I unfortunately have no "recordings" from my life, other than some photographs and memories. If I could go back in time, I would have kept some kind of journal, and maybe taken some photos during my younger years
