When it comes to book creation, how fast is too fast?

I am undecided between publishing quickly so I can spend my money and publishing gradually so I can sell a higher rated product and hopefully catch the eye of Simon and Sushter or Harper Collins.

If you'll forgive me, I think this is the wrong question. The question isn't whether you should publish quickly or not. The question is whether the book is ready. Books are stories. They're either ready or not. If the book is ready, publish it. A good ready book will get your name out there.

It's not a question of speed, it's a question of the quality of the product, plus the marketing and distribution. Unless you have a reputable publisher your book is unlikely to be widely read.

I'm interested in delving into comics but I wouldn't say I'm a book expert. With that said, if you're trying to get the attention of publishing companies, I think you're gonna wanna polish your book as much as possible so it really stands out consider getting a professional editor or a peer reviewer so they could spot potential mistakes in the books or give helpful insight. So overall, try taking your time, unless you really need money.
