I speak English, Portuguese (native language) and I'm in the process of learning French

I speak Chinese and English and I learned French in grade school but forgot most of it and it was never enough to be fluent. I'm trying to learn Hebrew so I can interpret Jewish music cause I find Christian music has too many errors in it.

Latin helps to understand the roots of words, I do use Duo, but I work with a syrian who teaches me bits and pieces here and there which helps more than duo ever could. Italki is also good, but you have to pay.

French and English are interchangeable for me.
Spanish I learned in school and can have conversations with but isn't that smooth. Arabic is to make working with my co-worker (s) easier.
So no, I don't really get anything out of being polyglot, I am passionate about it.

technically, my native language would be English being born in Texas...

but I actually grew up in Texas and Mexico, and I did learn Spanish as my "mother tongue" and it was till later that I learned English on my own, so that's why I am naturally fluent in Spanish, but not in English since I never really studied it, lol
