1 yI speak English and Spanish fluently and understand most Latin languages and have the capability to understand most all languages. Being put to the test by multiple people from multiple different countries throughout my life. It can be difficult sometimes because languages have so many variations, dialect, connotations, and slang.
As for me, I’m not going to say I’m the most intelligent person in the world I’m not. That said when it comes to IQ test in one very particular area, I test off the chart and that is linguistics. Which means you can basically abandon me in most countries and I’ll figure it out.
That said, the world of language is vast, and it is always interesting hearing a new language for the first time. Like a puzzle all the pieces spread out, but all forming towards one puzzle that we call humanity. In its own way, language developed and grew alongside of humanity, trailing its own path of history.
I enjoy history so Language in general works out as one of many wonderful hobbies.
