Late 2019 (October or November, I think) I went to see Joker, largely because I'd been told there were supposed threats of violence over it, and, figuring it was about the Dark Knight shooter, I felt an obligation to defy terrorism. It turned out it wasn't about that, but something far darker, which just kind of reinforced the point.
I'm glad I went, though; it was an excellent movie. And the receipts show that; it made over a billion on a $50 million budget, and WITHOUT the Chinese market.

It’s been years since I’ve been to the cinema, I think it was Jurassic Park I went to see. So I’m thinking around 1993ish maybe. Films that have been coming out today aren’t my thing. I would sooner wait until they come onto television or dvd and watch them in the comfort of my own home.
I haven't been to the movies since I was 15 and I only went because my ex boyfriend thought it would be a cool date idea, but egh I don't know, it was so boring and it didn't help the movie was pretty boring too
This Saturday and black adam, it was pretty good and entertaining

A little over a week ago. I saw the rerelease of Trick 'R Treat, for datenight. It's my wife's favorite movie. She plans on getting his lollipop tattooed on her our next date night
The early `90's. I'm not sure which was the last one I saw. Possibly the X-rated version of, "Showgirls". I only saw about half a dozen other movies around that time, "Stargate", "Premonition", "Powder", "The Majestic" and "Encino Man".
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. It’s one of my favorites, and the theater I go to shows off “old” movies or classics, usually with a theme - and it changes every week, usually only showing two days, so ya gotta get in there if you want to see it.
Before that, it was John Carpenters The Thing - same thing. One of the “classics.”
Most modern movie I saw before that, I believe, was Bullet Train.Hadn't been for a very long time, as the movies that have been coming out are just not my thing (Marvel stuff, mostly.) But this summer I saw Maverick and Bullet Train and both were pretty fun. Not great, but worth going to the threatre for.
I watched the new top gun film back in July.
I've been meaning to catch that "smile" film in the cinema. I've heard it's good.
It was 3 or 4 years ago. We saw a movie called The Big Short. It was at a local cinema and the reason we went is because we had a power failure and it was getting too cold in the house.
The last thing that I know that I saw was the last Star Wars movie - The Rise of Skywalker, I think it was called.
