When was the last time you went to the cinema?

I miss it! It’s probably been 4 years since I went. I had seen the Aladdin movie, and before that I went to see Girls Trip.

It was so normal to go on movie dates. I really wanna see the Barbie movie next month in cinemas…hopefully.

Last movie I saw in the theater was Guardians of the Galaxy 3, when it opened. In my city the theaters have what's called VIP theaters, where you go sit in these recliner chairs and there's people who come take your orders and bring you whatever you order to your seat, it's 18+ so no kids allowed, it's the only way I see movies but it does cost me $75 because I always buy the seat on either side me so no one has to sit by me.

It could have been Jexi was the last time I went to the movies to see a movie in theaters and that was 2019. So that was 4 years ago.

When I was a kid there was a movie house in every town. They only had one screen and sometimes they would hold a movie over for a second week it it was really popular. It seems like it was always sold out but I think the movies were a lot better back then, Now they have a 10 screen multiplex and 9 out of the 10 movies playing there suck and maybe there is one watchable movie.

The drive-in we went to the most was the 41 Twin
It was Milwaukee's last Drive-in. It had 4 screens

when I was in high school we used to sneak kids in the trunk. We would drive in with two people in the car and go to the back row and let them all out of the trunk.

There are only two where I live too. I got to take my kids to one of them. I had a Chevy Blazer and I pulled it into the space backwards and put the tailgate down. We saw The Rocketeer and The Last Starfighter.

@exitseven i used to take my huge cargo van, clean it out the day before, though in a queen size mattress in the back, add a bunch of blankets.

Sometimes we even set-up a tiny tent for the little ones
