I'm very out of touch with day-to-day pop culture, so I haven't been to the movies reliably in a very long time; you don't often go when you don't know what's playing. They last thing I went to see was Joker, and I only did that because a coworker mentioned that people were being advised not to see it for fear of violence. I assumed that was in response to (well, fear of) copycat attackers like the Dark Knight shooter, and as someone with no patience for terrorism, I bought a ticket.
It turned out that wasn't the motivation, which was darker and scarier, but the movie was excellent, so THAT part was good.
I last saw the Demon Slayer “movie”. For what it was, it wasn’t too shabby, and there was only the dub so that’s kind of saying something. I’m surprised my body didn’t fall apart like a Lego tower knocked down by some oblivious 5 year old but there were definitely some parts that were cringe. This was not close to Dragon Ball or My Hero Academia levels of a good dub but I enjoyed myself. I’m really looking forward to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire next, it’s nice to have to wait years for another good movie. Remember Minus One?
The last thing I saw in theaters was Oppenheimer, and before that was John Wick 4. I mostly watch things at home, as I have a nice setup. It's not a dedicated home theater or anything, but for a smaller family room, it's got a big, higher-end TV and a good surround-sound system. As such, I really only go to the theater for big action movies or epics.

still annoyed i didn't see gozilla minus one, it was literally playing that day, but i didn't get into godzilla movies until like a month after 😞
I think i last saw Fast X. He and i are gonna go see this shitty lookin Godzilla V Kong as if the first wasn't bad. The only thing i look forward to is Kraven the Hunter
