I found this fanfiction that I really like online and I see a lot of potential in this person's writing.
I am a writer myself and I have a ton of experience and knowledge in writing stories.
Going through college for my bachelor's and master's really whipped me to shape. I've published my work before and received a lot of praise as well as constructive criticism. I don't mind constructive criticism, it helps me to improve.
For this person, I left them a detailed comment about how much I enjoyed their story (it's still ongoing) and specific things I really liked.
At the end I suggested something she could improve on. It was just one little thing and told her she could do it if she wants. But if that's not how she envisioned the way she wants to write her story then just ignore me.
My comment posted and when she eventually got on her account I noticed she deleted my comment. That bothered me a bit. I wasn't trying to insult her by making that comment, I just see potential in her and was giving her some of my wisdom. Was that bitchy of me?
I'm never going to do it again and I'm just only going to say nice things now.
