I think taylor’s album midnights of course has some songs that in my opinion are overhyped (like any other album ever) but, in her songs such as anti hero has some type of message in it such as the “Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby
And I'm a monster on the hill“ line. And in her song maroon. The lyrics “The burgundy on my T-shirt when you splashed your wine into me
And how the blood rushed into my cheeks, so scarlet, it was (maroon)
The mark you saw on my collarbone, the rust that grew between telephones
The lips I used to call home, so scarlet, it was (maroon)” is a very descriptive/artistic way of saying red. I would’ve never came up with that myself. But those 2 are the only songs I have fully listened to from her new album.

I'm personally not huge fan of her music. I don't hate her or anything, I thought never getting back together, blank space, and bad blood where catchy but not enough to go see her in concert or buy her music. It's just never really strikes me or makes me feel anything, like most music today it's just catchy.

I don't know about the whole album and I haven't read any of the critiques or reviews about the album or its songs. I really like that song though. I think Taylor gets a bad rap, some of it may be deserved but most of it has to do with horrifically bad staff work and even worse communications by her team (ironic when you consider she's a singer). Whatever else we think, she is an extraordinarily talented singer, her directing skills are showing serious talent, and her ability to use words and create lyrics is amazing.

She was cool when I was in 10th or something. But I don't listen to her music anymore. I do listen, but it is very rarely.
