My girls used to be embarrassed when I would take them to the store, and I'd dance in the aisles whenever a good song would come on. They'd walk away, but I was having fun. I also sang on the car out loud. To this day, I have a younger sense in music taste. I still love the older songs, but am more into the younger ones these days. As long as the song is good, has a good beat, and so on I like it. I do dress my age, I try to learn new things so that my mind stays sharp, and that's it. So I dont think it's like I'm not "acting my age", but just the taste in music that I prefer. Maybe I should have been in a band. But I think about my girls and it makes me laugh, the way they used to be embarrassed. I'm giving an example of two songs I like, that I heard both in a store and started to dance to it while driving my shopping cart... I dont do it in front of people but when I'm alone. lol

My daughter's boyfriend also collects figures from science fiction films, and some other creatures I have not seen. He plays video games too, and is quite good at them. My daughter is also good with really creative video games where you need to answer questions on your phone and somehow it will show up on the tv screen.
