Every time. Even though I am a soon-to-be engineer. I am not that tech-savvy in day-to-day life. I like to keep things really simple. Minimal smart things in-house are among those. Also, whenever there is any new tech or development in the market, I do not get as excited as the 3rd or 2nd or 1st year students get. I don't adopt them as early as they do.
An 8-year-old kid is able to program a simple game in C. I am not. And I don't feel anything about it. That kid will grow to be accustomed to all the programming languages. I started programming when I came to engineering. The difference is huge. That is how they make me feel old.
But now, I have understood that sheer pure programming is not my forte. Analysis and data science are my forte. Which does not come under development. So, I am working towards that now. It requires coding, but not development-level programming.

I would say! Often. I am gonna put the music and movies aside because none of them understand what the word (classics) mean. So! As daily common general knowledge, like describing the road, making a shoping list, make a plan that 7s 2 weeks ahead, how to make priorities, how to communicate, what it means to be punctual, and other things that they call (old fashioned). I feel old because when i was in my 20's i was doing so much to improve my self, educate my self and earn a good living, nothing is free, nothing is easy, hard work always pays. I know i sound that i am too old but i was not like this having no idea what to do when i was in my early 20's.
I work in private education and I still get called Ms. Even though I’m the youngest in the whole building who isn’t a student 😂😂
It’s an everyday reminder.
One time when masks were still mandatory, I gave this one kid in public a mask cause he wanted to go into a shop and he looked me dead and my face and said
‘Thanks lady miss’
Granted when I was in high school everyone over 26 was an old fart

All the time lol
most of the people I work with are 18-22. I look young for my age so they always think I’m their age until I tell them I’m 25 and they’re like “damn!” 🥲
Young folks don't make me feel old. Old stuff makes me feel old.
Back in the 70s, we had an all Indigenous rock band name "Redbone". When I hear the song in Avenger's Infinity War. . . my eyes well up with tears.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/4MpPGb_apD8Every freakin day. LOL Actually, I am in pretty good shape for my age, I can paddle all day long on the bay and cover about 20 miles or walk all day long out in the woods, another 20 mile. I still harvest about 15 to 20 cord of hardwood each fall season and hand split and pile it all myself. Not bad for old guy.
Honestly, although being 69, no one makes me feel old. Compared to any younger people, I just am rather old, and never hide it. How younger people consider me is another topic. Even for a 40 years old person, I'm still old... Everything is relative, isn't it?
When I am talking to them and they don't know who is Jack Benny, George Burns, Johnny Carson, Rudolf Valentino, Tom Mixx, Randolf Scott, Roy Rogers, Dale Evens, Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, Marry Hartman, Jack Web, Jim Reed, Kojak, Jim Rockford, Rocky & Bullwrinkle (famous Cartoon Dual), Mighty Mouse, Popeye, Betty Boop, and many more
They don't they make me feel like im old more like we're doomed and I'm of the last generation of smart people. Besides my daughter who is blessed to think like me but I'm afraid she'll be surrounded by a world of mentally insane and emotional and over dramatic weirdos.
Lol, I work with children - or from the age of 1-18 pretty much, I feel old OFTEN, especially when I'm working with the structure boys, I can't keep up. 😅
I'm 50, my son is 4. Most of his friends' parents are young enough to be my kids. So basically twice a day, five days a week when I drop him off at nursery, then when I pick him up later.
😂😂😂😂 oh why?… all the bloody time! For some of them it is accidental and others they enjoy doing it to me… I have a younger friend group. And they are all always making me feel old.
When a teenager hits on me and I realize I'm 20 and that that's illegal and I'm like, "Please have a crush on someone else, I don't wanna go to jail 💀"
Before i didn't feel it but now when someone says they’re any age under 25, i feel hella old.
All the time. At the gym I often play "Spot the old guy". I look around the place and see if I can find someone who is older than me. Many times I end up being the old guy
Deliberately? Never. Do I feel old sometimes when I'm with younger people? Yes. But that's on me, not them.
I'm 59, work with mostly younger people in a supermarket, they don't make me feel old tbh, they see me mostly see me as mature and reliable, one young lady said she wished I was her granddad,,,
Not often, but when they call me lady I'm like "oh gosh am I lady status already? but I don't feel old :( "
When they can't figure out a manual shift car.
Every time I see someone younger. When I see them doing a similar job as me I feel younger because I can work circles around the younger generation
Whenever I see " what does it mean" questions.
Never, everyone says I look and sound 15, 12, or rarely 20.
Not very often. I think my daughters actually make me feel old sometimes by what they say.
