Should you remind old people of their age?

That's pretty funny.

He knows he's old, even if he doesn't know the exact number of years. Old people might need to be reminded, but it happens on it's own.

You try to lift something heavy that you'd have no problem with in the past, and realize, "oops, I guess I can't do that any more". Or you can't take the lid of the jar any more. Or you do something without thinking, and get hurt because you aren't as agile as you used to be. Or you can't remember something. Or you lose balance too easy. Or you get tired from doing work way too fast. It happens on a regular basis.

People forget because they are the same basic person. The same person they've always been. Me is me, and age doesn't change that. Since "me" is the same, you have to be reminded that the outer shell has changed.

I'd say yes and no. Yes if they try to do something not rational that could hurt them like forgetting they have back problems and trying to do something where they slide because other younger people are doing it. I'd say basically being senile.

But if it's simply just to remind them that they are old, then no. I think it's important for old people to feel young and still have fun even into their old age

His is embarassingly sad. The man is suffering some kinda memory loss. I’d only remind old men/women who hit on young girls/guys that theyre old enough to be that guys/girls parent/grandparent
