Are you afraid of spiders?

I have picked them up and played with them me and my brother both. Our Grandpa used to do that too when were little. Us kids would be all scared of the huge spider handing in the driveway and our Grandpa would go over and grab it out of its web. And while the spider was moving its feet our Grandpa would be moving his arms and legs in all directions mimicking the spider he looked like he was dancing with the spider.
Another thing our Grandpa would do when our Grandma or us would complain about a huge wasp nest, he would grab a ladder go up the ladder and grab the wasp next out of the eve of the house with all the wasp buzzing around him, it was hilarious watching him do that.
And you may think I came from a strange bunch but when I was little we had what you might find and very unconventional entertainment. When our cousins would come over to our Grandma and Grampa's house, we would all gather around in a circle around a lawnmower us our cousins uncles and Grampa. We would all hold hands in a circle with the first one in line nearest the lawnmower grabbing the spark plug on the lawnmower and the last one completing the circle would grab the rope with their empty hand either he or someone not in the circle would pull the rope and shock everybody in the circle.
I view spiders as the Earthly equivalent of angels- freaky looking, but a vital part of defense against the TRULY horrific things out there. Ever hear of bullet ants? Japanese giant hornets? Bot flies? Nature is brutal, but at the invertebrate level, it's downright nasty.
Mark my words, if someone ever teaches a spider to talk, the first thing it says will be "FEAR NOT".
Nah. Just little creatures who got little dogs in them. Was once at a post of a security job and when you are bored outta your mind and your phone isn't working, life is valuable. So the insects that flew around in my small little hut I watch. Saw like a little light but chillin on the window... then came this spider and eat him alive. (ya know, bite, turn inside of bug into mush and sip) and when it was done, IT JUST DROPPED IT'S BODY AND MOVED ON! the savageness of spiders, holy shi
Only the larger ones, dog size and up.
The rest I have an arrangement with (since I'm kind of short) stay up high out of my way and eat flies and I'll leave you alone.
Most die of starvation or old age and leave me alone.
That spider probably is fake. No spider is bigger than a dinner plate, I read.
@HippieVeganJewslim ofc it is fake, sarcastic joke. There are some pretty huge ones though out there, in Australia for example.
Would love to visit that place, mate!

Of course not. Spiders are helpful; they are never dangerous. They almost never bite and in rare cases when they do, they don't hurt because most cannot puncture you skin and are seldom poisonous to humans. And of those that can and are, only a couple can make you sick. Honey bees are far more dangerous.
Nope.
We get along pretty well. They keep the bug population down around my place.
Years ago, a black widow spider lived in my lawn at the base of my mailbox post for a few years.
It was pretty cool to go out to get the mail, look down and see it sitting there.
Not in this country, but maybe if I went somewhere like Australia, where half of them want to kill you, and I don't know which half.
No. Their webs annoy me, especially when I dive into them headfirst, but that's about it.
Yes, absolutely. If you combine these following things, you will get a spider:
fetus eyes, boneless human fingers, growing tumor, 1/8 of a face, Eagle toes
nope
I find them fascinating and have tremendous respect for them, since the ones here in Texas can be a bit feisty... well their bite is
Yes I hate spiders their one of my biggest fears
Useless fact of the day spiders & sharks were around before dinosaurs
I like daddy long legs, but all the others, Kill!
Daddy/mummy longlegses ain’t spiders. They’re cousins of another order of arachnids. Many spiders are quite harmless.
Nah. I kill them. When I was a kid, I used to pick them up.
Not really I let one crawl on me just to freak out a coworker who was
Nope. I do not fear spiders but cockroaches and maggots are nasty and the more spider webs to catch the roach snd fly the better.
Only the deadly or highly venomous ones, but the others are fine.
Not regular spiders. They are a bugger if they bite you though.
Yes, I am. My husband doesn't mind them and does his best to transport them to a safe area when they find a way into our basement.
I saw that video, a massive level of nope from me!
Nope. They eat other annoying bugs and pests. Spiders are little helpers.
I am not exactly afraid of them especially of those small spiders. But some spiders like tarantulas and such do make me goosebump
No, I like that spiders are killing insects, they are fairly useful.
Very much yes. But not so much that I can't deal with them for my wife and daughter.
