What kind of podcasts do you like? Can you mention the genres, please? What do you like in your fav. podcasts?

I am looking to revamp my nearly inactive podcast. It is about book summaries, chapter wise. Through Anchor.

But even when I was recording the two out of three total episodes, I felt that I was putting lots of constraints on myself, so much so that the episodes were like an automated, well rehearsed sound clip.

I felt that. And I did not want that. Becauee, I feel people may get bored by it. And cut the episode short.

So, I am looking to revamp the whole design of it. Hopefully I succeed.😸

Hagrids Hütte (Hagrids Hut) Chapter by Chapter two guys discuss the Harry Potter books, interesting facts differences between English and german translation, ...

Filmanalyse, Deep analysis of movies, mainly currently playing, but also some older movies.

Jung und Naiv, interviews, mainly political topics, but also interviews with other professions, like head of the german ethic commision or greenpeace, or climate activists... , as well as analysis and summeries of the last 3~4~5 interviews.

Mordlust, two women talk about true crime in germany and german speaking neighbouring countries, austria/schwitzerland. Mainly murders but also kidnapping and other crimes.

My favourite is the therapy gecko. Some of the things that people call in about are hilarious, and others call in regarding sensitive subjects and Gecko talks them through it. He’s very down to earth and gives honest advice. He even has special guests sometimes on the podcast. I enjoy listening.

I like 1865. It’s a historical podcast about politics after the Civil War but it has a lot of parallels to life today. Also I like the Jamal Show, which is like a talk show about politics and life done by a really cool Black lawyer. But I watch a lot more TV shows than I do podcasts.

The first point is super easy especially when they're friends and can paint the picture well. The second is just fun because they share their passion with eachother or just with us. There are sooo many longnand angry reviews about that last starwars trilogy. So much content.
