hi Nergis! I've recently seen a movie that i really can't get out of my head:
Bones and All (2022)
This movie was released in November of this year. The movie director is Luca Guadagnino, an italian artist who also shot Call me by your name.
Anyway, this movie tells the story of a couple of lovers (the guy is Timothée Chalamet) and their road trip through the USA. They're both teenagers who're trying to understand their place in the world and who happen to be social outcasts, isolated from the rest of the normal people, because they're not like others.
"They're not like others? You mean that they're extremely shy? You mean they simply have different interests from the rest of teenagers? You mean that they look hideous and everyone despises them for their looks?"
Actually no. The problem is another: they're cannibals.
So, yeah, you already know there're going to be extremely gory scenes in this movie. I personally didn't find them disturbing at all... but that's because i'm used to seeing this kind of stuff too.
But, in reality, the story behind this movie is much more deep than that. Their cannibalism is a metaphore of their diversity. They love each others so much, but their nature imposes them to eat human flesh in order to live (otherwise, they'll die). This forces them to commit horrible crimes in order to keep living and loving each other.
I'd really suggest you to watch this movie... but some scenes can be too hard to watch. by the way, absolutely loved it: despite some scenes, it's an absolutely intriguing love story, that tells a lot about being different form others and loving each other for being different. It's a very sweet romantic movie with some horror in it.
It probably won't be available neither on Netflix nor on Amazon Prime Video... but if you'll ever have the opportunity to watch it, do yourself a favor!

Puff the Magic Dragon. The marijuana connotations are hilarious.
Okay, but worse movie title of all time (that I know of) has to be 2020's Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn. Yes, that is the actual original name of that steaming turd of a movie.
For some reason this screenshot unfortunately reminds me of... human... centipede...

Titanic. Blue Lagoon. The American President.
I can't forget Taxi Driver. It's about a guy who drives a taxi. But so is Collateral, which I nearly forgot the name of so I could have called that Taxi Driver too. And Taxi, which I think was a film about a guy driving a taxi.

I will never ever forget the name The Last Starfighter. Such a terrible movie. I love it.
I inflicted it upon my friends at a movie night once a few years ago. They're still mad at me 😆🙌
The Matrix, probably because I get a sickening feeling sometimes that it is rather close to reality.
Jaws
Lots. I rarely forget the names of movies. I luv movies. It requires an entirely unremarkable film for me to forget. That’s really hard to do.
Kids. I know that sounds bad but it's about teenagers and I saw it when I was a teen.
There are so many like Christine, die hard, labamba, dirty dancing, ghost, fast and furious. These are just a few.
