Do you find that you relate to music more if the artist is around your age?

I actually feel like since there’s been a wave of music where there’s been people my age just, doing the thing, I relate to it so much more.

I figure it’s people just growing up in the same time, with the same things, same pop culture, the internet. The same feelings and criticisms about the world.

I was greatly influenced by my older siblings and their era music. It wasn't so brain dead and plastic. I enjoy it much more.

No. I'm 23. Most people my age are too immature & dumb. They don't make good music usually either.
