What French films or television do you recommend for someone learning the language with subtitles?

I recommend the film My Mother's Castle, which is based on the autobiography of one of the greatest French writers of the 20th century, Marcel Proust.

Here is an excerpt

You should watch Link TV if you have it. They're based in Quebec and the netwark has a lot of French language programming, with English subtitles.
