If you were an actor or actress, what kinds of characters would you play? Regardless of whether it was stage, film, or television?

I'd probably do well with government agent, military, or mercenary roles in action films. That or some kind of tortured, brooding, and reluctant hero. I could possibly pull off a comedy, but it would have to be a psychotic, mentally unstable weirdo.

I’d make a great detective/member of a task force. But I’d pretty rough tomboyish like Erin Lindsay on Chicago PD, Tani/Kono on Hawaii Five O, Olivia on Law & Order, or Athena Grant on 911 while also OCD/clumsy like Monk. I’d also like to be cast as a vampire or werewolf. I’d love to be in a horror comedy thriller film where I’m pushing people in the way of the killer/animal so that I’d survive 🤣 And lastly, I’d love to be the host of a reality tv show. I could instigate some stuff up

It's kinda fun. I do it from home so, I just set up my recording gear, do a take a more of each bit needed in the voice required and then edit out the mistakes on the computer and send them to whoever needs them. The first movie was a local college project where I was supposed to just voice an alien called, the merchant. That was about 5 years ago. Having just seen an 20 year old episode of The Outer Limits where nearly the same plot happens, I think I know where they got the basic idea for their movie. Ended up, they wanted me to actually PLAY the alien in the movie!! It was kinda fun but, as you might know, there was a LOT of waiting around on set and it took an hour to get my make-up on, and that was just my hands and lower arms! I had to go to a recording studio they hired to do my tracks and then we just used that for me to act against. My face was never in shot so, I never had to look like I was saying the words, just act as if I was. IF it ever got finished or released, I don't know. They were SOMEWHAT professional about the whole thing but, they pitched a major bitch about me being an hour late for the recording session but, never bothered to tel me EXACTLY where the studio was so, it took me at least half an hour to find it!! Then, when I got to the set, they were STILL building props and what have you, for the shoot and I had to wait several hours just for THAT to be done so, even if I WAS on time at the studio, I would've been sitting around with my thumbs up my ass for ANOTHER hour once I got to the set (their garage!! Make-up girl showed about 4 hours after I got there.

The other movie was a low-budget Hollywood movie called, "Crypt Games", it's the second part inn a trilogy called, "The Surveyor". I'm not sure WHAT it's about!! some sci-fi thing about this guy, Taylor, who is a surveyor and discovers some kind of alien plot to take over the world, I think. He sent me a script of all the lines he wanted from me of 16 different characters. They were all either of-screen or the characters I played were wearing some kind of gas masks so, you couldn't see their faces at all. I had to do 16 different accents and voice types.
I also tried out for a comic book reading and, instead of just doing one character, I did them all but, he never choose me to do any of them. I even have an effects unit that I put on some of them as needed. There was also a set of 4 or 5 cartoon characters I tried out for. It was a bunch of monsters that were kind of comedic. Billy Bolts, the part I almost got (I was short-listed for that one) was a Frankenstein-like character who was "dumb as a bag of rocks" and wanted to be a policeman but was afraid of fire. The vampire was more like an old Jewish vaudeville comedian, I tried out for that, the werewolf had a Jamaican accent and I wasn't sure I could do that so, I passed on it, the mummy had some other characteristic I don't recall and tried that, too, and I even tried the part of the witch.
