What do you do when you feel sad?

I drink coffee, listen to music, daydream about a celebrity and of course go for a run.

I usually go for a walk, listen to some music, do some reading, etc. Anything to change my thought pattern and to do something else that is fulfilling to help get me out of the sadness I'm feeling. Going for walks can be great for that. It gets you out and moving, the sun gives you a little shot of vitamin D, and something about walks - the rhythm of it - can even help you to process things to come to a better headspace about it. Basically, anything you enjoy that helps break the cycle of sadness and negative thinking is a good thing.

I'll go workout in my gym, blow off some steam on the bag, shower, pour myself a spice rum or vodka (neat), play some classical music and/or some Frank Sinatra, Moby, etc. and send it to the outdoor speakers while I sit in the hot tub. Maybe smoke part of a cigar.

Go outside and get fresh air, I've noticed being indoors for too long can not only depress you but enough time indoors it can mess with your mental health
