When Richard Dawson was the host during the 70s and 80s he would always greet each woman on each team with a kiss. This goes for all woman, single women, married, moms, yes even grandmas were not spared from his signature kiss greeting.
You might think women wouldn't like this but actually they all wanted it. In fact the kissing was so popular that when nbc told him to stop the network received thousands of fan letters demanding the kissing to resume!

here's a nice 12 minute video on Dawsons tenure as the host of this show. Another thing about his kissing is he also would kiss any woman of color who appeared on the show. This is back at a time when that was still not the norm. So he’s also an equal opportunist non discriminatory kisser as well.
