If you threw a party, would anyone show up?

I've never thrown a party because I know never would show up. I don't get how people throw these parties and they have like 100 people show up. Are these all there friends or just random people?

It’s not safe to have distant acquaintances at your house because they could damage property, smuggle drugs, steal things, get your house infected with bacteria etc… outside church events, neighbourhood events, and work events, I’ve never been to a house party with more than 30 people.

Yeah, we have pretty regular get-togethers. I don't think that I would ever invite more than 30 people over for a party, aside from my wedding. You just can't really hang out with that many people at once.

We went to a party last Friday and over 200 people turned up. Some people just know that many people.
