Normally without restrictions 18. You can get in most nightclubs with 16 when you have an adult person with you and a form of consent from the parents. Without this form between 16 and 18 you are only allowed until 00:00. This is the legal side of it.

Every club owner can decide to limit entrance generally for min. 18 or limit that under 18 you can only stay until 22:00 even with a form of parental consent.

Also there are "Teendiscos" which dont officially count as nightclubs as they dont sell alcohol and close at 22:00. They are sometimes open for people around 14+.

It is also becoming increasingly more common to have 30+, 40+ parties in clubs at specific nights though this has absolutely nothing to do with laws just a "themeparty". Often they do accept entrance of younger people nonetheless but music is often more fitting for them. (which often makes it better music ironically) This is about nightclubs.

While technically and legally the same for bars they often decide to have entrance restrictions set at 18 to only need to check age ones at the entrance.

I just took my two teen kids to some bar/dancing bar. They didn’t like it. Was too loud for them. I wasn’t going to stay… wanted to show them what’s it like out there…So we left. They are more of the study type… I told them if I get too drunk, they can take me home…as a joke… since I don’t drink. They just look at me thinking there she goes again…crazy mommy on sugar high.

In my home country it's 18. I never went to one. My first was at 23 when I moved to Europe which is where l live now (it's 18 here too).

Nightclubs are a very mixed bag. You could have a lot of fun or have a disgusting experience just as easily.
It's important to be surrounded by people who want what you want from going there and of course to apply basic common sense in terms of safety

Some clubs here are 18+ but most are 21+
And there are certain clubs that are 18+ on certain days and 21+ for the weekend.

and there’s one club I know that would have teen nights where it’s 16 - 18 on certain nights. (But if you’re already 18 then I find it weird why you would want to go to teen night if you could get into the other clubs lol)

18 in the uk the same as the age to buy alcohol. You can drink younger but you can't buy it. some clubs have an under 18 night where they don't serve alcohol or let older people in for obvious reasons.

Depends on the club, you can drink in a bar at 18 but many clubs have age limit in the early 20's usually. So 21, 23 isn't uncommon. Some have different age limit depending on which weekday it is.

Without drinking you can get in at 18. If you're drinking then it's 21. I was 17 when I first went into a club but that was many years ago when times were different

I was 16 the first time I went to a real nightclub. I had a fake ID and snuck in. The normal age for getting into a club in my state is 21. There are also teen clubs that don’t serve alcohol.
