How to prevent YouTube from recommending me videos about astrophysics?

Okay I might have watched a couple of videos but it's getting out of control now. I have blocked so many channels because I am afraid of learning the "secrets of the universe" but they're out to get me 😭. I don't know why this is happening. Every day, I wake up to a new black hole discovery.

Press the three dot button on the right side of the video as you’re scrolling and there should be a “do not recommend” option.




Youtube actually picks up your ip address along with anyone that has an account that lives with you, and they’ll swap interests.




I know this cause I’ve been recommended videos from channels that I’m not subscribed too but my brother is.

Click 3 dots near the title and choose "not interested". Or just clear your cache or log into a new youtube account.

Okay, just click on videos that intrest you only, the reccomendations will slowly go away.
Also occasionally they ask if a certain recommendation is good for you, just click on the very bad option in that case.

Anyway to further avoid such situations, when you are exploring videos you are not really interested in, just use the signed out version
