Do you know how to block YouTube ads, if not learn how?

YouTube has become a large pain in the ads, with multiple non-skippable ads on just a single short video. Unlimited runtime of ads till you skip them and so many ads on pages, which drains cellular data. They are paying high amounts to creators but totally forgot about its viewers base. If you are trying to listen to a song, nobody like 3-4 ads on one song.

If you are viewing on computers then use ad blockers on your browsers as extensions. There are multiple trustable ad blockers are on chrome /firefox browsers. You just have to open their stores and click on add the extension.

There are some good adblockers as adguard, AdBlock. I use adguard and it's actually very good. You will not feel any slowing on youtube or the browser. Stop using the mobile app, use browsers and add adblockers to them...

Quick tip. Just click on another video and then click the back button. You'll skip every ad AND the ad pays out.

Using ad blockers, the youtubers miss out on ad revenue, as the algorithm doesn't register the view.

For "malvertising" (you know the "Microsoft error" or "Antivirus expired" ads) just add the domain name to your host file, and you'll not see it again.

I guess you haven't heard the bad news in that Google is changing how extensions work, and getting rid of the dynamic filtering that ad blockers rely on. This is of course because they will get more kick backs from advertisers for doing this and they have a strong hold on the market at present. Of course users aren't happy about this because they feel like they shouldn't have to be advertised to every couple minutes, so it's push at the moment.

Firefox + ublock origin.

Newpipe for android.

I have never seen an ad on YouTube ever. I just use U Block.
