Tommy was great and I loved the 1975 movie too.
However, 1988's "Operation: Mindcrime" by Queensrÿche was their breakthrough album and had some very good songs...

Personally, I like the beginning through "Revolution Calling" which is ___still___ applicable today.
(This is roughly the first 7.5 minutes.)

Rocky Horror Picture Show. No doubt, just a sweet transvestite, transexual, from Transylvania.
It is a lot more rare to see them up on stage anymore though, in my area I haven't seen that in... over a decade, wow I'm getting old lol

This is from Quadrophenia, by the Who. Keith Moon had passed away long ago, and Zak Starkey (yeah, Ringo's kid) is on drums and does a fantastic job. Entwhistle is his usual amazing self, and Townsend is great. Roger Daltrey's voice is in great form too.
Tommy used to be my favorite and I couldn't imagine improving on that, but Townsend did it again! Absolutely amazing.

  Nice. I also asked because at the end of your post where you wrote "Townshend did it again!", I thought you meant you saw him and Daltrey recently. I know they toured last year, and they're supposed to tour again this year.

I like Pink Floyd's the wall. Disturbing as hell, creepy, gothic, and freaky! But awesome as hell! I like that one with David Bowie too, whatever the name of it is. I like the music for both of them though!
