I think that it's mostly accurate, though the only platform I really pay attention to ratings on would be steam. You can apply the top and bottom panel to the same game if it lacks sustainability.

I've never really checked movie ratings, more just randomly pick something the theater is showing if that's part of the plan.

for the most part yes even though the quality of a movie is mostly subjective, there are objective elements within them to judge them by, similar to physical attractiveness
