Definitely home all the way.
Cinemas suck hairy ass for many reasons:
The only reason I'd go to the cinema is to experience Dolby sound and full surround audio system. And only if I already watched the movie.
I like seeing movies on the big screen, but only if it's one with special effects, like a horror movie or an action/Adventure. Sometimes, suspense movies are OK too.
But Comedies and dramas, there's really nothing special about seeing them on a large screen. I made that mistake with a Will Ferrel movie once. God, some of the ridiculous movies he does, lol. At least he knows some of his films are bad! I've seen him on this webshow admit to it, lol.
At home, I can take a bathroom break or grab some food and rewind back to where I left off.
Plus, while watching movies at home, we can lay around as comfortably as we want.
Watching a movie at home... I can just pause it when I need to step away from the movie. You can't do that at the cinema.

If I had to choose, then home.
I like to talk during movies lol. I mean not excessively but I enjoy watching movies with friends cause we add our own commentary to it. It adds to the fun of the movie tbh.
I think merits to both. A big visual/aural movie I want to see on the larger screen. If it's mainly going to be a dialogue piece, then at home with my rescue kittens. I've got a nice home theater in the home with an Atmos surround sound setup that'll handle non-epic movies quite nicely.
I like both for the different things they offer...
some movies are definitely better on the great screen... and I still like the taste of pop-corn at the movies better than any other (salty AF)
but, way more often than not, I would very much rather be at the home theater at my place for all the convenience and getting cozier with company or all by myself a well
I absolutely hate movie theaters. Many times other people are loud and stupid. The seats can be pretty terrible, the food and drinks and tickets are horribly overpriced. The first 15-20 minutes is just commercials. The whole experience sucks.
Action moves with surround sound are better at the cinema. Overall,, watching movies at home is better... you can pause, rewind and take breaks whenever you want... and snuggling tc. can be a lot more fun.
I prefer watching at home. I have a big 70 inch TV and a nice home theater setup. A new cinema opened in my town and I really have no interest in going to see a movie there.
at home. i hate going to the movies. i feel like i waste the whole entire day there. not fun. plus it's expensive.
I like my theatre room at home. I can chill without people talking or getting up during the movie, and I can pause it to grab more popcorn.
I like putting my feet up and every time I do that at a Cinema I get told off... So home it is
We have a 7:1 surround sound blu-ray system. Blows away anything I have heard in a cinema.
I prefer watching movies at home.
I haven't been to a movie theater in about 20 years.
At the cinema for sure! It's a different experience, I'd say it's magical Lol
Home, plenty of food options; plus if you have to go to the bathroom you can pause the movie
At home honestly. The only noise you hear besides the movie is that of yourself, nobody else's.
Usually the cinema. Most movies are made for the big screen.
Ever since movie theaters opened up again I've liked going to the movies more
At home. Less expensive, can watch in comfort without stepping or sitting in God only knows what, and pause and rewind if I want.
In my home with the peace and quiet and the freedom to eat whatever I want, lay down on my bed and relax.
Movie theaters have gotten way too expensive. So we watch at home on our measly 55" screen.
I like both to tell the truth. The cinema for its sound and home for its coziness.
I personally don't watch anything, I have worked in Hollywood, I threw my television set out the window in 1997 my view is much clearer now...
Prefer to watch at home because the cinema's each year's more and more expensive
I prefer watching movies at home
Depends if Iām with company or not
Both in different ways.
Cinema 🤭
