Cheaper in the long run: no kids or people around me talking or on their phones, and we're not even going to discuss how high the food and snacks are there! I can make some popcorn, nachos, and get some candy, and spend less than I would at the theater.

At home. You can put it on hold and take a break. Or stop it and pick it back up later. And no people talking or doing weird things in the theatre. And you can make your own popcorn... LOL

My bfs house cuddled up to him on the sofa with a fire in the fireplace and a glass of wine. He has a really big nice tv too so there’s no real benefit to sitting in a dirty crowded movie theater. Plus I’ve heard you can get lice if they don’t clean the theater seat backs. So there’s that little tid bit always in the back of my head (literally)

Definitely cinema. I feel like movies were made to be experienced on the big screen. Usually at home I have so much freedom and would just skim the movie to the juicy bits cause i'm impatient. However at a theater I'm forced to sit in and experience every single minute of it. That's when I get to really appreciate the music and cinematography.

If I had the money and time i'd go to the cinema for every movie I watch!

At home. Because at home, you don't get that one annoying person in the theater who constantly has to ask, at a decibel volume close to normal speech, "What's going on? Why did she do that? Who are they? What did he say? Why does that guy have a huge scrotum-like chin?"

Generally prefer at home. I can eat whatever I want, pause it to pee, and I get to be alone or just with people I'm close to. At cinema, it is nice as it makes a day out, but I don't like sitting near strangers, or people being loud, and travelling to the cinema is a pain.

I am more comfortable and have less expensive refreshments at my home. The screen at the cinema is bigger than an entire interior wall at my home. The speakers are much better. There is more room to comfortably fit ten to twenty friends at the cinema. I enjoy both for different reasons.

I prefer watching at the cinema. It's a complete different experience and it feels like you're part of the movie.
Unfortunately I'm broke now, so it's been like 6 or 7 years since the last time I went to the cinema.

It depends. Movies with extreme special effects or that are just special in general are nice to see in the theater, but I like the intimacy of watching at home too.

Lately im enjoying movies at home while cuddling with my man and my dog, it feels better, you can just lay on your pijamas and feel free to pause when you gotta pee... so home it is🏡

In the theater. Its a different energy. I saw IT 6 times in theaters because the audience would just get into it and it was more fun as a social experience like that.

Depends!!! But home has more pros i can say. I can pause the movie anytime i wanna, i can put subtitles, i can be eating crispy foods and no one would give me dirty looks lol. I like going to cinemas too though when im excited for a movie.
