What is your favorite ride in the amusement park?

Around here, it was always Noah's Ark. Especially the way it was the first time I was ever on it. They've changed the entrance at least 4 times since then. I haven't been to that park since the `90's so, I have no idea if they've changed it since then. Another great one was Laff In The Dark. Another local park had a really cool one called, Haunted House where you actually rode up to the second floor of the house!! That park also had another ride I loved but I don't recall the name. Possibly, "Magic Carpet". It's just like the Helter Skelter in England. You climb a lot of stairs about 5 or 6 floors up with a little green carpet and, when it's your turn to slide down, you put the carpet on the floor and sit on it and when you get the signal to go, either someone pushes you from behind or you make yourself slide down by tugging on a metal pipe over your head across the slide. It was a long wooden spiral slide around the outside of the building. They also had an alpine ride from one end of the park to the other that I loved to ride but only got the chance 2 or 3 times. The one I liked most at Cedar Point was The Fun House. When I was working there in `78, I lived right outside the park and would often go into the park after hours to wander around and would nearly always end up going into the Fun House to wander around in there in the dark. The end of the ride finishes with a very steep sliding board inside of a narrow silo. Once or twice, I climbed UP the slide all the way to the top floor to get into the house and, a few times, I climbed up beyond the top floor of the house, almost another floor up, and rode it down from there.
My other fave thing at amusement parks is the miniature golf. Nobody ever wanted to do that with me because they were more interested in the rides. I'm there to have fun and playing mini golf was fun, to me!!

I don't think I could just pick one they all have meaning for me in one way or the other I think it's just being at the amusement park watching everybody smile Carefree laughing having fun and all the troubles and worries are gone I think that's one of the best parts about amusement parks but I love every ride and I love every ride with different people because each one means a different thing

I liked the viking ship and the tea kettle pots at Canada's wonderland and at Busch Gardens I liked the water tour that takes you over the water to look at fake crocodiles. I also like Back to the future at Epcot in Orlando Florida, which is a movie scene reenactment. At Las Vegas, I love the shuttle bus that takes you from one casino to another. I've been on adult rides too but I get more happiness from the kiddy rides cause I don't like being scared or uncomfortable. Nightmare is the only adult ride that did not scare me.

I'm a fan of the Ferris Wheel these days.

My body can't take the high-octane rides anymore.

It's nice to just sit, go up and down and look around.

My favourite was the Black Hole at Alton Towers - sadly long since taken down. It was great fun having a rollercoaster ride in total darkness. Vicious first drop and pulling 3G on the sharper bends.

Roller coasters are OK if they are "steelies" that are not of the "Mad Mouse" design which go in umpteen directions at once. "Shuttle loop" coasters are fine too.

Totem Pole rides- go up, turn slowly around- go down are a nice rest.

Of course, Ferris Wheels are cool too.
