I probably read 3 or 4 a month on average. It usually takes me 5 or 6 days to read a 4 to 500 page novel, so it depends on the length of the novel also. When I read Stephen King's IT that time, it took me about 2 or 3 weeks because it's a little over 1,400 pages. I'd say in a year's time, I read maybe 40 to 50 books.
I would like to read more, but lately, I've been working on writing the forth book in my book series, and a lot of time goes to that, so I've only been reading a couple hours in the day.
A lot of the mystery novels I've been getting from the library lately either haven't been that good or have been boring. I wish there was a way to find some decent horror and mystery novels at those libraries!
Oops, I voted none. But I probably "read" halfway or quarter way through 1 or 2 a year. I'm just not the reader I once was in my "old age" now of 30 and the era we live in, I love smartphones and modern tech. I don't miss books. But I do wonder about eyes 👀👀
Almost 30. When bored in high school, I read more books, library š¤£
I don't read as much as I used to cause I'm trying to write a book and have a social life and learn a foreign language and I find watching YouTube videos is faster cause they invented the short term sound byte posts. That's basically all I watch now cause I don't have too much time.
Easy 10+, its not rare I read 2-3 books a month. Sometimes I switch to comics that results in a few less books but on average I guess its around 2 books a month.

Since having had COVID, twice, badly, I find that I can no longer maintain interest in reading.
I can comprehend and remember what I read, it's that the interest quickly fades.
Whether that's the reason or not, I hope my "maintenance of interest" in reading returns.
Happy Reading To ALL!!!
Great question! 😊👍
I do not count, but a lot. I have five that I am going through currently. One is the Psalms in Latin, so I like having others as lighter reading. Sort of like being mentally taxed by playing chess against a highly rated player and then playing the computer on Level 7 for an easier game.
I used to read 20 to 25 books but my pace is slowing down and I'm not making as much time to read as I used to. I probably read about 10 per year.
I keep track as a way of maintaining pace with my reading.
In 2020: 16 books
In 2021: 21 books
In 2022: 27 books
In 2023: 11 books
So, based off my pace, I'm on track to read 26 books this year. I am aiming for 30.
Still think it's a good improvement: 11 books in 5 months of 2023 compared to 16 books for 12 months of 2020.
No clue. I've never counted. But I'm definitely passed 5 books this year, so more to come.
I am ashamed to admit I have not read any books this year so far. I probably will not have a vacation this year either so I probably will not read any.
unless wattpad or ao3 books count, none. i have so desire for reading and haven't since i was a child
Not a high enough number on your list. It's closer to 100 books a year. I love kindle unlimited
I used to read like 10 per year, but now it's maybe 1 or 2, ever since I had a life. Currently on "The Second World War" by John Keegan
Between 12-20 or more a year, depends on subject and format.
i consider reading books a waste of time. i can gain knowledge way faster through online research.
and for entertainment, movies are way more effective and less time consuming.
I read at least two books per month depending on how long the book is. That's roughly a total of 24 books per year.
I donāt like reading beciase I have to read at work.
free time, I am out and about.
5-10 books this nowadays. I used to read up to 40 in the past.
Thatās a benefit of knowing different languages, one week I was Dostoevsky in Russian and another week I was reading Hemingway in English, then I was reading Gamsakhurdia in Georgian.
I now plan to read something in Chinese but at this point with my Chinese I can only read Childrenās books.
I read 5 or 6 a year. I start another 15-20 but lose interest in them and start another book.
I ve read 3 books last year. I found some good book to read at local library. I really enjoyed it. My vocabulary is better now. I was busy travelling this year so I didnāt have time but once I settle down I will borrow more books
I read every day. Granted I read books for research purposes so some I do t read all the way through. But it has to be in the fifties
Just the Bible. Has all the answers I need. 😅
None. I've been about audio books for at least the last decade.
I usually read anywhere from 1 - 3 a week (extremely fast reader, always have been).
