I love to paint. It’s one of my passions. My family says I should display my art into a gallery and I’m throwing money away since I’m wasting my talent and hiding it. I don’t wanna be famous. I just like doing this for fun. Even my grandpa flat out told me I should consider doing this and I need to stop wasting my talent because I’m throwing away money. Like I said I like to paint for fun and I don’t want paparazzi follow me around and I’m already going to college for early child education. I can’t have two jobs. That’s dumb. How am I throwing money I don’t even have?

I'm on your side. Pursue your passion. Lots of people have hobbies. At least yours is productive even if it's not with a career goal in mind. It's healthy to relax and enjoy yourself in your spare time.
Painting, photography and other artistic pursuits help you learn and grow, unlike some other hobbies. I encourage you to keep it up. Don't let anyone discourage you.
Ehhhh paint artists don’t really make much money in todays world. Whenever someone has art talent I always recommend becoming a tattoo artist
That’s true. Artist don’t make much money. I tried to tell them but they don’t listen.
