My family have a bed and breakfast. We all work full time as well so we are very busy. The past few weeks I’ve been the one mainly cleaning the rooms back to back, even giving my work lunch times up so try and do it. I’ve been non stop. I also pay be parents a lot of rent money and I’ll replace food in the house when needed.
My step mum said I should help out with groceries more yet they don’t pay for a cleaner for the bed and breakfast cause I do most of it and my parents keep all the profit. My step mum called me a liar the other day because I went away for a night to meet someone and said I was going on a night away (she then kept arguing with me and I thought this was just silly). The person cancelled on me in the end but I still had a good time away. My friends think they are taking advantage of me.
I replace food a lot if I eat it and my dad says how I don’t “buy anything” and that certain things are for them and he was really nasty about it, although I explained I actually do he just completely ignored it. They have works going on in the house and the electricity will be off, they said they needed to confirm which date this will be and they never confirmed with me so I asked and they acted very defensive saying “why were you asking, you said you were away that day”. I’m getting really fed up with the coldness all the time now and want to move out, what do you think? Are they being unfair?
