Do you prefer reality tv or regular fictional tv?

When I watch fictional scripted TV, I picture in my mind the entire production crew and everything that is needed to create the illusion that the director hopes to create. That started happening for me about 20 years ago. I can't watch fictional TV without that happening for me. It's actually rather annoying.

So, I prefer reality TV. I know that some of it is set up to get certain shots, but overall, there's usually no secrets about what is going on.

My favorite show of the last few years is "Alone". It's a show about 10 people being separately dropped into wilderness conditions with very limited equipment. They're left to survive as long as they can. They film their own activities as they go about their individual survival methods. They can tap out by satellite phone whenever they want or need to. The last person left wins $500,000. It's pretty brutal. I love it.

They're separated widely enough.
It's conducted in vastly huge wilderness areas.

Scripted television (what you call regular fictional TV). However, a good game show is always fun. Same with sports which is a form of reality TV. I don't like competition shows like Survivor, Big Brother, The Bachelor, and shit like that classically known as "Reality TV".

Reality TV is just as scripted as your average TV show. They just add cutaway interviews and spark up drama so that they can all talk about how much they hate each other or how much better they are than everyone else.

Scripted shows are better.

I never watch any of the so called reality shows. These shows have a small budget and are just a way for the networks to make more money. I cannot believe that anyone still watches this stuff.

I like all the Chicago shows, NCIS, and Yellowstone.

I prefer no TV from day one of the elections when Trump was on television I turned the TV off and I haven't turned it back on it's been one of the best things in the world
