the ABSOLUTE BEST. ðŸ¤

I don't believe there is. it is so dependent on where you are in life, your mentality, and what other things you have watched.
there are shows that I really really liked when I was 10 and brought me great joy, and now I can't even hear 5 seconds of dialogue. and things I really like today would have bored me or seemed too complicated 10 years ago.
and there are trends. like action-packed superhero movies. they worked in the 2000s but they won't work now. and today's anime that has really complex comedy would not have fought on in the 00s since the pattern recognition needed for that comedy didn't exist yet.
so I think the question should be "What was your favorite TV series over the years?"
for which I will answer:
during middle school, it was HIMYM because it had stupid American humor that I could get such as being hyped about stuff being awesome or legendary and I felt more like an adult.
during high school I liked Steins;Gate because It was complicated enough for me to actually think about it, it was science themed and its weirdness spoke to my weird-ass self-image. right now I don't have a favorite series, almost every one of them losses their way or milks it too much, and some that aren't doing those feel too short. so no "sweet spot" hits. but really good ones are good Omens, lucifer, one punch man, and brothers in arms.
I really can't think of any true stand-outs that stayed solid for more than a couple seasons...
Peaky Blinders was probably my favorite fairly recent show, though the last two seasons were meh.
HBO has produced many of my favourite series of my lifetime - Silicon Valley, The Sopranos, Sex and the City (why do they all start with 's'?) They hit it out of the park, again, with...
The White Lotus. That show's a fucking masterpiece. It makes me feel happy to be alive just to be able to watch it.
But unfortunately it's a limited series, with almost all-new cast each season, and I will never again see the Sicily cast. But, man, was it good while it lasted. Best TV I've seen in many years.

@Boromir Yes!! It makes me sigh, just thinking about it. What a gift that was.
I doubt Mike White will carryover again. He did with Jennifer Coolidge, but he created the show based on her.
Aubrey was great, yes.
My husband's very into her. She's got quirk.
Did you hear that she said this character was the one, of all of hers in her career, that she could most identify with?
I'm glad someone else watched it by now!

Did you enjoy the HBO series, "The White Lotus"? Are you going to watch Season 2? ↗
I know just two. But they both loved it. (Cause they're not crazy!)
mine is cold case, no longer on the air, hard to find in run as well due to music copyrights

I love Breaking Bad , brilliant writing , so glad I just got it back so I can watch again on IPTV , love the story of Vince Gilligan and how the whole idea started.
So many to choose from lol. But GoT is good. So is Mayans (the sequel to Sons of Anarchy about a Latino motorcycle club).

It's a cartoon called Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir
I like the parts of Young Sheldon where Young Sheldon isn't in them. He's an asshole. But the rest of the show is clever and funny.
