@exitseven I still have the whole series. I originally saw it on VHS back in the early `90's. When they first ran it on T. V., I got to see a few parts of it but, after about 10 or 20:00 of a few episodes, my parents said it was really really goofy and didn't wanna watch anymore of it and changed channels. I got to see, "Arrival" up to about the point where Rover attacked the guy at the fountain. I got to see, "Checkmate" up to about the time they were playing lawn chess. And I got to see, "The General" up to the point where No. 6 breaks into the control room and puts the new programming into the sphere. I MIGHT'VE seen a little of, "The Chimes Of Big Ben" because I seem to recall seeing Leo McKern as No. 2.

@AngryCarl Which one? Both were great but, "The Prisoner" is extremely thought provoking and psychologists that saw it back then are are still trying to figure out what it was all about, today! "Danger Man" was just a spy show. There were lots of those in the `60's!

@exitseven I don't know about it being a summer replacement but it ran from late `67 to early `68. Pat only wanted to do 7 episodes but they eventually talked him into doing more. They wanted around 26 but he wouldn't go past 13 and didn't exactly like some of the extra 6 they did to make it 13. The reason he wasn't in, "Do Not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling" (except for the closing and opening) was because he was away filming "Ice Station Zebra".

@exitseven I heard about it but I was never into war movies. The rest of my family loved `em, for some reason. I watched :"Combat" but I think it was mostly just because I thought Vic Morrow was really cool and, for some reason, I liked the Lieutenant, too. Which was one called, Billy? I remember we were always going on about Billy. Other than that, the only war shows I was into were, 'Hogan's Heroes" (which I just finished watching again yesterday), "McHale's Navy" (which I just started watching again last night) and, "F-Troop" (which I suppose I'll start watching again next). I don't think I'd mind, "Sgt. Bilko" but. that was just a tad before my time so, I never got into it and, "C. P. O. Sharkey"would be okay but, I just never got into it. We DID watch, "Gomer Pyle" but, I didn't exactly like it. Too much yelling and I had more than enough of that in real life!
