I don't know why anyone calling themselves an adult would want to see Barbie.
@Apple1996 Is it that hard to be a beautiful white woman with a convertible and a simp boyfriend? That’s rhetorical.
@Apple1996 sounds like whining. Oppenheimer was royally screwed over in his life (even as a very successful man). What is astounding as I think back on the movie is he did not whine at all. I noticed it then but now it seems more apparent.
When you see Oppenheimer, watch for how he handles getting royally F’ed over by power hungry people/men. This movie and the preceding book are true to life as it often uses direct quotes. I will watch for how Barbie handles it when I watch that movie.
firstly due to comedy and jokes. second those who liked barbie dolls when young want the memories reawaken. 3 it is not about dolls. it contrasts the worlds and overcome challenges.
Oppenheimer. I’m going to see it this week!

Oppenheimer.
I want to see both, but if I'm going to be in a theater, I'd want to see Oppenheimer.
i heard Oppenheimer is too much talking blab and very little story.
also the trailer annoyed me when they put in trumans mouth "lets use the atom-bomb to bring our boys home" would we say that about germ warfare? so we can end the war and bring our boys home... or poison gas.
I thought it was much more of a story of his life then building the bomb so that surprised me. I did enjoy it a lot. They left out a lot of the technical details as getting the explosives for the implosion right took a lot of effort and they didn’t focus on that which swung it much more towards a story about him vs the bomb as I mentioned.
I didn’t like they way they had Truman speak to him but it was a very accurate movie so maybe that is how it was. A landing and fighting would have taken millions of lives on both sides I think. The US lost so many when they started fighting in Germany that the US would have lost much much more fighting a fanatical Japan. 140,000 lives vs millions of lives and a quick end to a war THEY started. I’m good with that choice.
I have zero interest in Barbie, and while I've been looking forward to Oppenheimer, the 3-hour run time is pretty hard to stomach especially when it's not an action movie.
Oppenheimer definitely as Barbie is apparently yet another woke screed about "the Patriarchy", how awful men are and how great feminism is 🤮
Barbie. Oppenheimer sounds good but i might fall asleep and fart. Barbie however... i'll at least be awake.
I already seen barbie and it was great! Watched it at home tho
Oppenheimer. I've already seen it. Such a great movie.
I mean I'll probably eventually watch both. But Oppenheimer is really the only of the two that truly interests me.
barbie hands down
Oppenheimer for sure!
