Did you knew the source material (Anime or Manga), if not are you more interested in the source material after watching the netflixshow?

As a fan of the source material i was sceptical at first, but after mainly positive reviews roling in, i watched it and i was suprised how much i liked.

In my opinion Netflix found the sweet spot between close enough to the Manga, so even Fans can enjoy it, and creating something new, so people who aren't familiar with the whole anime/manga genre can still enjoy it.

I have to honestly watch the anime before I watch the Netflix adaptation, just to get a good idea of what its about.

They are making a reboot of one piece with Wit studio the studio that did the first 3 seasons of Attack on titans before Mappa took over the project. It's called "The One Piece" would you watch that?

@ComteDeSaintGermain Probably not, I never cared for One Piece at any point, plus it sounds so irrelevant after the original series getting over 1,000 episodes. If the franchise is dying then they should just accept it, it’s lived a long life already.

The show is really great if you accept it as an adaptation and not want it to be a perfect copy of the anime.
