Trending & News I listened to those bands (and many others) in my adolescence during that era, but I kind of grew away from it. I used to listen to that kind of music, but not anymore. I don't know, in an age of radio and MTV (and "MuchMusic" in Canada) where all those songs could be heard everywhere, everyday, I just got burned out on it and tired of the overall sound after awhile.
When I turned about 19-20 (roughly around the turn of the millennium) my musical tastes took a very sudden turn toward classic rock of the 60s and 70s (as well as other genres from that era), and I haven't swayed from that since. I listen to a lot of obscure stuff too, and still to this day I am discovering tons of new bands from that era. It's literally endless and it keeps things fun and interesting.
With that said, I do get why people enjoy that kind of music from the 90s, but it's just not for me anymore.
Somewhat but, not a lot. Primus, Fishbone, Super Furry Animals, Weezer, Tripl3fastaction, Thin White Line, My 3 Scum, Lollipop Factory, Ishkabibble, Einstein's Car, B. S., Mike Ness, Radiohead, Mum, Death Cab For Cutie and possibly a few others. The thing is, by that time, I already had about 52,000 records in my collection so, I pretty much stopped listening to new stuff because I just didn't have the room to collect any new stuff I might end up liking.
In my opinion, the 90ies had the best Alt Rock - especially after Grunge was slowly dying out. I've been lately to a 90ies Alt Rock Tribute Show and loved every bit of it. In terms of music, the 90ies are definitely my favorite era. Can't get enough of it.

Yes I do. Everytime I hear Ballad for Dead Friends by Dashboard Prophets from Buffy the Vampire Slayer it makes me love that particular genre from that era.
I’m a bigger fan of 60’s/70’s/80’s rock but yeah, there was some good stuff in the 90’s too….. Radiohead, Weezer, Candlebox, Smashing Pumpkins, Blind Melon.
This is my favorite music. My Dad played it in the car ALL THE TIME. It reminds me of time with family.
Yes a lot of good music from the 90’s for sure , I just saw Fuel not so long ago in concert and they still sounded awesome. Usually Friday nights I will jam out to 90’s rock bands when I am drinking beer 😋
I actually do because my dad loves it and growing up he'd always listen to it so I became a fan too.
No, I worked in a K-12 school system in the 90s and really tried to listen to some of this. I liked some of Ben Folds' stuff and some others but the 60s and 70s were the best.
All of those are good bands. RHCP and Pearly Jam are my favorites and always in my playlists.
I like many rock styles including 90s A. rock music
Some of it is good.
70s was some of the best music ever
Maybe. Alas, I'm a millennial and I didn't exist in the 70s.
I'm sure there were very good artists then though.
Very good. Beatles, Zepplin, Clapton. Just naming 3.
Weren't Besties 60s?
*Beatles
Yes and 70s
I prefer 60s music the best but listen to a wide variety.
I really love 90s alt rock!
I do! My favourite is REM.
Yes, I like most music.
Third Eye Blind
