I can only speak for myself in this case and my answer is a definite no.

Most of those games nowadays are murder, kill, rape and violence games that serve no purpose than to make people aggressive and to fill the pockets of those CEOs that could not care less what damage they cause with their violent games.

As for anime, again, today's cartoons will never be able to match the artistic cartoons made in the 40's and 50' of the last century by a Walt Disney for example. Modern day anime cannot be compared. First, there is no story behind most animes and the drawings are for the most part computer generated.

Finally, gaming can be seen as addiction if played more than a reasonable time.

I've been pretty alone when it comes to my interests and hobbies. But I also see a lot women over the internet who's into it.

I have almost always loved anime and manga, and I do enjoy gaming different games, but mostly stuff like Stardew Valley and Pokémon.
